Gary Eastwood | Senior Recruiter / Founding Member
Gary was one of the founding members of SBS for over 35 years. He recruited in a variety of disciplines / industries. Gary passed away unexpectedly in August 2021 due to natural causes. His legacy and impact on the firm will be forever etched into the fabric of the business. His wisdom, energy, sense of humor and recruiting expertise will be greatly missed.
Piggybacking on his Supply Chain / Manufacturing experience, Gary was a Materials / Purchasing / Supply Chain recruiter. For over 20 years, Gary gained experience recruiting for one of the top 5 aggregate materials companies in the world. As industries / disciplines / technologies changed, Gary pivoted with the times and recruited in a variety of functional roles / markets. From a leadership perspective, Gary was the Chairman of NPAworldwide's Sales/Net group for 15 years and served as a Vice President and Western Regional Board Member of NPAworldwide for 4 years. Most recently, Gary was active in a range of disciplines from recruiting heavy construction equipment sales talent to EHS, HR and a variety of management roles in the food industry.

Steve’s recruiting career pre-dates Fax Technology (read, he’s been recruiting for a while). As a nationally awarded Sales Recruiter with Snelling & Snelling (one of the largest national recruiting networks at the time), he decided he could do it better and started his own firm, SB Solutions Inc. His evolution as a successful / sought after full life cycle recruiter spans a variety of vertical markets including: MedTech, market research / analytics / AI, HW / SW technology, building materials and cold chain sales, service and management to name a few.
Steve’s recruited senior executives, from Regional Presidents and VP’s of Sales to Regional Directors, National Account Managers to Account Executives throughout North America / Mexico. He’s a dog lover and Kona, their rescued Rat Terrier / King Charles mix is his constant companion and SBS’s Chief Security Officer.
Having recently celebrated his 33rd wedding anniversary, he’s stable and committed (his wife’s been saying he should be committed for many years now, but that’s another story).
